what makes math so tough? I think its when i think something is to tough. but the more i practice it the better i get. 

1. its how i study, and how long i study for that helps me get better.

2. if i always look at math as being to hard and thinking i cant do it then  it will always be hard for me.but if i study and do my home work i know math can be fun.

3. math is only tough if i make it that way by thinking i cant do it. but if i brack it all into steps its not as hard as it seems to be.

 i know ash we are going to have to buckle down and learn the math that is hard for us to do.

NOTE CARDS ARE ALSO A GOOD IDEA BECAUSE U CAN USE THEM AS FLASH CARDS BEFORE THE TEST.

REWRITING NOTES OR THINGS THAT ARE METIONED IN CLASS PRIOR TO THE TEST ARE IMPORTANT SINCE U ARE MORE LIKELY TO REMEMBER SOMETHING SAID OR WRITTEN RECENTLY.

ASKING QUESTIONS DURING CLASS IS A GOOD IDEA THAT WAY YOU UNDERSTAND THE MATERIAL YOU ARE REVIEWING.

REPEATING THINGS ALOUD IS HELPFUL WHEN TRYING TO REMEMBER THINGS BECAUSE IT TAKES MORE OF AN EFFORT TO COMPREHEND  RATHER THAN READING SILENTLY.

 I can relate to all these approaches.

i know thats part of what i am going to be doing to learn as well.

Ch 4

Self-Talk

5. study hard by making and using my math cards

7. use the net to look up words relating to math i may not know 

CH 3

my Learning style

my primary learning style is,visual

my secondary learning style is,kinesthetic/tactile

my weakest learning style is,auditory

i wouldnt say that audtory is my weakest beacause i need all three things to learn the math and any other subject. i have to be able to hear it see it and be able to do it on my own.

CH 10

before the exam,taking the firs practice test wasnt good i got alot of them wrong. that told me i needed to step up my game by studing and wrighting them down on a 3x5 cards to study from.i know i wasnt ready for it i needed lots of prctice.

after the exam, the practice test was helpfull because it told me what i needed to work on. i know know how to study prperly for my tests or exams.

putting it all together, i know the way i study to prepare myself. and i am open to opinions to help me better prepare myself i would try lots of ways but for now this is the way i best know how to study.

CH 9 

i had a positive retension for exsams,

what i would do first i would put exsaples of math problems on paper to study the problems. to be sure i know how to work out the problems. then once i understand it i would put them on a 3x5 card then bring it to the exam if i am alowed to. i would use it for the exsam. i like to use this technique because it helps me  prepare for the test befor i take it to be sure to refresh my memory so i am mor confedent about the exam.

the qualities i think a teacher should have are,

1. i think the instructor should give one on one instrutions for a certin project because some students dont coprehend as well in class.

2. i feel we should ask how the class is ran so we can better prepare ourselves for the 16 week course.

3 i think the instructor should have a good attitude because if so the students will most likely get their homework done for that teacher.

what makes math so tough for me is,

the different types of symbols used for formulas or numbers or letters are hard for me to understand at times. sometimes i lose what i lernes in my mind dirng class. its like i think i know it in class but when i get home and get my homework done i sometimes forget how it was done in class.
